LEEBINSOYEON creates exaggerated, implausible narratives. Moving constantly between sincerity and irony, reality and fiction, she explores flickering mirages that emerge from encounters among images scattered across the picture plane. Rather than settling into clear explanations or finished outcomes, her works absorb the events, emotions, and relationships that arise unexpectedly throughout the entire process of making, from inception to long after completion. Intentional fictions and intentional truths briefly surface before dissolving back into reality, but once we have passed through those mirages, the world can, at times, be perceived differently.

이빈소연은 과장되고 허황된 서사를 만든다. 진담과 농담, 현실과 허구를 끊임없이 오가면서 화면 안에 산발적으로 흩뿌려진 이미지들의 조우 속에서 깜빡이는 신기루를 탐구한다. 명확한 설명이나 완성된 결과물에 머무르지 않고 제작 전부터 완성 이후까지의 모든 과정에서 우연히 형성되는 사건과 감정, 관계를 작품 안으로 흡수한다. 의도된 허구와 진실은 현실 위에 잠시 떠올랐다 사라지지만, 그 신기루를 통과한 세계를 우리는 이따금씩 다르게 감각할 수 있을 테니까.
